Bead Table Wednesday

Heather over at HumbleBeads started a Flickr group and blog posting of what's on her beading table every Wednesday.  Many have joined her.  Here's my first Bead Table Wednesday.

bead table wednesday

It's quite the eclectic group this time.  I'm not sure what I'll do with it but the quartz crystals will be wire wrapped or soldered, and the lock plates will become bracelets or pendants.

OH MY GOODNESS!! I am in love with what you've got going on on this table. I soooooo wish I could find pieces like these when I'm out thrifting. Can I just say I'm jealous, so very jealous. Have fun playing with all those goodies!

Thanks, Hope! I wish I could find lockplates like those when I thrift too--I got those on Etsy. They are from Latvia. All the ones I find here are much larger. These were nicely sized for jewelry. Antiquing and thrifting is one of my favorite things to do.

Can't wait to see what you make with this. Speaking of Antiquing and thrifting, we need to plan a trip.

Do I spy the candlestick used by Col Mustard in the Library?

Can't wait to see what you come up with!

That Col. Mustard! He had the candlestick and he wants the wrench. I've got my eye on him though.

Thanks Jenni! I've been wanting to do some different things and I think this lot will be challenging.

I just saw that you bought these on Etsy. Do you buy a lot off Etsy? I have yet to make the plunge, but I've come close a few times.

I buy TOO MUCH off Etsy. There's so much cool stuff there. I bought raw diamonds from Hong Kong on Etsy a couple of times. There's a lot of stuff I can't find around here. If it's antiques you just have to know your prices and take shipping into account. There are a few vendors who are selling resale stuff as something they made, so do some searches before you buy and see if it is available elsewhere for a lower price, especially if it's clothing.
